Download the BookletJolly Daubs is a line of charmingly surreal figures, concocted by the unrelenting fantasy of German artist Irmela Witteberg. At once informed by Cubism and mysterious African carvings, her digital compositions delineate a prismatic cosmos of personified emotions, between flowers with coquettish eyes and ambiguously smiling clowns.
The Jolly Daubs ooze such an enthusiasm and energy that we just had to take it upon us to spread their presence. Not only do we prepare traditional limited editions on quality papers, but we also open up our line of graphics for licensed products in the vein of stationery, tableware, snowboards and all kinds of lifestyle-products.
That said, our prospective products will remain geared towards highest quality and uniqueness. After all, the Jolly Daubs are walking the fine line between art and commerce, between the tragicomic figures of the Commedia dell´arte and the flashy, challenging spirit of the times.
