About

Artist Statement

I am creating artifacts from an imaginary future, where posthuman technofauna is roaming dunes of phosphorescent scrap metal. Employing an aleatoric element via computer algorithms and shrubbery textures, this playful utopia manifests in colorful renderings and conceptual software artworks.

From The Planet as a Festival by Ettore Sottsass to the paradoxical riddles of the Blue Cliff Records, I am working with a broad selection of influences to inspire a protean state of mind: One in which you can reimagine language, deepen your empathy towards nature and ultimately lead a free life.

Vita

Born 1990 in Emmerich, Germany. Studied Theology, Law and Philology at the University of Vienna, while living a stones throw away from the Prater with its garish popular culture. Sidetracked by the field of urban archaeology, he spent a lot of time in the library.

Avid reader of science fiction, philosophy textbooks and the history of science. Influenced by a visit of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, he taught himself the techniques of new media art.
